Flight allotment, invoicing, and reporting for TUI Cruises
Cruise passengers reach the harbor by air. FATA is the internal web application that TUI Cruises staff use to plan those flights, settle payments, and report on every completed allotment in a single system of record.

Before FATA, a flight allotment for a cruise could pass through three or four people before anyone got paid for it. One planned it, another invoiced it, a third built the report, and every handoff meant a spreadsheet and an email asking whether the numbers matched. Now it all happens in one tool.

Challenges and Objectives
Building an invoice system that never misses
Invoicing was the hardest part of FATA. Money moves on the strength of what the system calculates, so correctness under every condition — partial allotments, edge-case cancellations, unusual billing scenarios — was non-negotiable. We designed the invoicing logic to run like clockwork and backed it with static analysis in SonarQube and a test suite that covered the paths that matter most.
Integrating with DaVinci on its own terms
FATA depends on DaVinci for booking data, but we didn't build DaVinci and couldn't change it. That constraint shaped the integration: both applications had to work together without a single modification under DaVinci's hood. Meticulous integration testing was our main instrument here. We mapped the contract between the two systems, tested every exchange against real behavior rather than assumptions, and used Postman to verify each endpoint before it reached production.

Results of the project
FATA runs TUI Cruises' allotment operations today.
Bookings, allotments, reports, and invoices are managed in one application, so the people who do this work every day spend their time on decisions instead of data entry and reconciliation.
The integration with DaVinci holds without any changes to that system. The invoicing module handles settlement for completed allotments as designed. The result is a process that is quick, convenient, and free of the manual hustle that surrounded it before.
