PSD3/PSR governs payment account data sharing. FIDA extends data access to investments, pensions, insurance, loans, and creditworthiness data. AISPs currently regulated under PSD2 will eventually transition to the FIDA framework, but only once FIDA’s data-sharing schemes are fully operational. The Commission is taking a staggered approach to avoid disrupting existing open banking services during the transition.
